Today I decided to treat myself and go for my first ever facial. I’ve recently been more into skincare as I get older but I never took the plunge to getting a facial… I’ve heard too many horror stories! For this reason I researched multiple clinics for a couple of weeks before making my decision. (Drum roll….) I ended up making the confident decision that Clear Skin Clinic in Sandyford was the clinic for me, with endless glowing reviews and a very detailed social media presence online about their treatments I felt confident.

From entering the premisses today the staff were extremely friendly and we began my consultation. We discussed what were my main worries with my skin and what were the focal points that I wanted to focus on. Following our chat we both agreed that their ‘5 in 1’ facial would be the most beneficial for my skin and the facial I would see the most benefits from. The treatment took an hour and to say I nearly feel asleep is an understatement. The whole experience from start to finish was so relaxing and my therapist was so detailed in explaining to me exactly what was happening at each step of the process.

The facial was such good value for money as I got five treatments in one appointment. A brief breakdown of what this facial includes..

A deep cleanse

LED Light Therapy

Hydration Mask

Two treatments from the following list is included the therapist and you will decide which treatments based on your skin.

Chemical Skin Peel (2-3 days downtime)

Jet Peel

Oxygen Facila

Vitamin infusion

Ultrasound infusion

Pigmentation mask

As you can see you are getting a lot of the price. The LED light therapy scares some people but the light helps to stimulate collagen and kill any bacteria and skin activity. The whole package is tailored towards you and your skin.

Overall, I would rate Clear Skin clinic 10/10. If you want to give your skin an extra bit of boost and glow, then this is the facial for you!
